Success Story! Emergency Cot Referral

This week, we received a call from a social worker needing to place an emergency referral for a cot bed.

The family has been treated poorly by the father, causing the parents to split. The father has now left, leaving the mother single with the responsibility of looking after three children. As the father left, he took with him a cot bed their youngest child was sleeping on. This left the child without an appropriate bed to sleep on.

Due to the dire situation of this family, an emergency referral needed to take place. The social worker got in touch with us and the next day we were able to complete this referral.
