Egg-citing time of the year (Part 2)

Wow, this Easter has been a busy one!  With Forget-Me-Notts having its largest request of Easter eggs ever at just under 4000, our team, volunteers and amazing donors have been hard at work collecting, sticking eggs and creating chocolate packs.

Helping hands from The Lanes Ambassadors

Following a presentation we made to The Lanes Primary School, we were joined by their very own Ambassadors. They came down to our office to learn more about what we do and help us with a few important tasks. As our Easter distribution was fast approaching, one thing the group helped us with was sticker and pack up donated Easter eggs. They whizzed through not just their own 200 eggs that they collected but 1400 other donated Easter eggs!

Thank you to The Lanes who were such a huge help in ensuring that we had everything prepared in time for the distributions the following week.

Distribution

After the hours of checking, sticking and packing each egg and gift bag we were ready for distribution! Just last week we were out delivering all 3900 Easter gifts to social workers, care groups, and community support facilities. We want to say a huge thank you to all of the groups that we distribute to, the work you do is amazing and we are so happy that we are able to support you during these times.

We would like to say one last thank you to every single person who got involved with this appeal, this was our largest request ever and we could not have achieved it without your support.

I hope you all have a fantastic Easter!
