Application Information
We are delighted that you are applying to be part of the Hope Alive Tour. Please read the form below carefully and provide all the required information. As there are many aspects to the tour, we would ask that you take the time at this stage to make sure everything is completed and submitted before the due date.
We will let you know if your application has been successful 1 week after all the information is received. Once you have been accepted you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit of £75 within 1 week of the acceptance date. Failure to pay the deposit in time will result in your place being offered to the next available applicant. There are a maximum of 4 support crew places and 9 running places on each tour. If not enough running places are filled by the closing date, then applicants will be contacted to arrange a change of tour or a refund of the deposit.
To be a member of the support crew you need to be adaptable, flexible and have an ability to cope with unforeseen issues and solve them in discussion with others. It is a team role and you will be there to support, encourage and assist the runners throughout the Tour. The key skills required are:
• A full, clean UK driving licence
• An ability to navigate using a mobile phone - training provided
• Work with minimal sleep
• Problem solving
• A positive and encouraging nature
• A willingness to serve others, which will include cooking, making tea and coffee etc

Pre-tour briefing: 3/4 weeks before tour start date
