Autumn Photography Exhibition

On 16 November Mulbarton church youth group put on our first Autumn Photography Exhibition of children’s photography from the Infant and Junior schools in the village.

There were some beautiful pictures from children aged 4-12. Family and friends were able to come and view them paying a small entry fee which included a free refreshment and cake.

People also made donations towards an extra cake and cuppa. They were then able to sit and have a read through the Operation Orphan information that we had available or watch the PowerPoint of Operation Orphan photos from their Uganda projects. As well as this the people who came voted for their favourite photograph and a winner was decided! The photo below is the winning photograph, taken by Samuel who is 4 years old and a student at Mulbarton Infant School. Well done to all the children who got out and took some beautiful autumn photos.

We found this event successful, even though we faced a few challenges, raising a total of £75. We hope to do it again next year and look forward to having lots more people getting involved. We are really grateful to Mulbarton Church who have agreed to match this £75, taking the total raised to £150.
