Support for Syria

Thank you so much to Shiraz, a Business Manager from Lloyds Bank, who coordinated the collection after returning from holiday in Jordan.

Whilst there he visited a refugee camp and was so moved by the plight of the Syrians that he chose to do something about it. He phoned the Red Cross who in turn put him in touch with us as Operation Orphan is one of the few charities sending physical aid into Jordan.

Our plan is to send a shipment in early 2015 to our partners in Jordan.

We have expanded our collections from warm clothing to non-food consumables, such as shampoo, toothbrushes, soap, nappies etc.
