Pencott School Development

Before Christmas, we put out a fundraising appeal as some serious work needed to be carried out at Pencott Valley Primary School in order for this fantastic provision to continue.

This haven in the community not only educates the orphans from all around, they also provide a meal and medical assistance such as de-worming. The government recently changed their policy regarding the school building and they now have certain infrastructure requirements in place.

Just before the office closed for Christmas, we received the absolutely fantastic news that due to a very kind and generous donation, we were now able to go ahead with the infrastructure development of the school.

We are delighted to be able to say that the perimeter wall has now been built, the main school block has now got a roof, the second block has had a ceiling installed and painted and electricity has been installed throughout the school. As well as meeting the new government regulations, all of these improvements will help to encourage more fee paying families to apply to the school which helps with the sustainability of the school for those that can’t afford the fees.
