Crisis Response - Ukraine

Our Crisis Response Team is acting immediately in response to the war in Ukraine.

Having responded to several natural disasters in the past, the team is prepared to base near the Ukraine border to support refugees as they flee to safety. Our main concern is the orphaned and unaccompanied children who are extremely vulnerable to being trafficked in these situations. As always, the mission is to ensure these little ones are safe and connected to a long term care structure where necessary. That’s why we exist and it’s a privilege to be able to help.

With excellent networks in Moldova and experience working there over the past decade, we felt this would be the best place to base for now.

The team is gearing up to leave later this week. As well as the primary mission, the team will assist with distributing essential aid and offering medical support.

We are sending practical supplies along with our team of experts, to bring relief and support.

We are also in touch with friends in Ukraine to see how we can best support the orphans there. We will update on this as we get clarification on some details.
