Jill has been an Operation Orphan ambassador for the last couple of years, a few weeks ago she had a knock on the door.

Jill opened the door to Millie, her 13 year old neighbour.  Millie had heard about what her friend had been up to and decided to save up her loose change.  She donated £16 towards Keep a Child Warm.

This week Glenis got in touch from Northern Ireland.  Glenis heard about Operation Orphan through her granddaughter, Erin.  Erin was living in Hungary when we did one of our first expeditions and helped to translate for us.  Since then Glenis has been following what we’ve been doing and telling her kids group about it at Portadown Elim Pentecostal Church.  The children at Kingdom Kids (pictured) decided to bring in their pennies each week to raise some money.  With a bit of help they managed to raise £50!

Every penny of this £66 will be used in our projects – how precious that children here in the UK can see beyond themselves and give to improve the lives of children they have never met. We are excited about inspiring this generation to show them that they can change someone else’s life for the better.
