Garden Trail 2025

Open Gardens is such a beautiful annual event where some lovely local gardens are open for visitors from the community to come and admire.

Maggie & Ian Paul take part in the event each year and for the past few years have used this as an opportunity to promote Operation Orphan and raise some needed funds.

This year went beyond all expectations and raised over a thousand pound for the charity. 

We are so grateful for their advocacy and the effort they put in to creating such a lovely atmosphere for visitors. There were things on sale, crafts for those who wanted to take part and some gorgeous refreshments. And the downpour of rain didn't put them off! 

We are so grateful for this fundraising - it's going to make a significant impact, especially since 100% of the money will be used to help the children we are supporting around the world.

Maggie came with us on a trip to Zimbabwe some years back, so she has seen first hand the difference her fundraising will make.
