Duke of Edinburgh Award

The volunteering section of a DofE programme is often the most rewarding, uplifting and memorable part of a young person’s DofE adventure.

As a volunteer through our Duke of Edinburgh programme, we may ask you to help us with a range of different tasks. These can be seasonal and will be based on the charity’s needs at the time of your qualification, ranging from cutting up wrapping paper for Christmas gifts, to sorting through donated items and packing up boxes to be sent to vulnerable children across the world. We will offer you an insight into the work we do and how we help vulnerable children and orphans through our projects. We will provide a Volunteer Induction, monitor you throughout your volunteering sessions with us and provide feedback at the end of your block on the eDofE portal. Our aim is to support you and offer you a valuable volunteering experience which is productive and helpful to our work.

We can accept groups of up to six volunteers at a time – you are welcome to come as a group of volunteers or as an individual, and we will match you up with other Duke of Edinburgh volunteers where we can.
