Spring clean!

After building a cot bed for a little girl it was evident that Mum needed our support in many other ways as home conditions were poor and cluttered.

With new Forget-Me-Notts team member Bec, this was the perfect opportunity to get stuck in and help Mum make her house ‘beautiful’. We have since revisited this Mum weekly to help her get on top of things. It will take time to help change her way of thinking but one room at a time, we scrubbed and sorted. Sometimes looking at the house as a whole can be overwhelming especially with two little kids. It took time and patience to educate Mum on how to manage a house and encourage her to keep on top of things to help improve her mental health, physical health and the safety of her children.
