Pamper Evening

Wow! What a wonderful time we had at the Operation Orphan Pamper Evening last night (Thursday 14 November).

The fun-filled evening was a storming success, offering goodies galore to all who came along.

Thanks to The Village Hotel, Nottingham each ticket holder went home with a free day pass for the hotel spa and a chance to win a month’s free membership!

The evening was such a great atmosphere and the ladies expressed real enthusiasm. Our volunteers were amazing! All enjoyed the highly acclaimed cakes, with a cup of Starbucks coffee or tea (Thank you Starbucks), shopping and being pampered.

Special thanks to Glamour and Tropic Skin Care for giving FREE treatments and asking people to instead DONATE to the charity! We really appreciated that. Thank you to Bare Minerals for the goodie bags and makeovers, you did a great job!

The raffle was teeming with wonderful and very generous prizes including vouchers for free hair styling, massage and beauty treatments. Fruit basket from Hallams, Tesco voucher, jewellery and beauty products. There were meals and events at The Village Hotel, a £50 John Lewis voucher, Soap and Glory hamper donated by Boots worth over £70, hand sewn products and vouchers for cards, cushions, life casting, ceramic gift tags and tonnes of knick-knacks and other individual prizes (I simply cannot mention them all)!

It’s fair to say it was the best raffle table I have EVER seen and I would personally like to thank every single person/business who contributed and made it possible to raise a total of £1462.69.

All the money raised from this evening will be used to help orphans and vulnerable children around the world.
