Spreading Some Birthday Joy
Who doesn’t love receiving gifts on their birthday?! But this year, a very generous boy decided to celebrate his birthday by switching things up a bit - by GIVING gifts to other children!
Dheer turned 6 last week! To celebrate with his friends and family, he asked for donations to help other children, instead of presents for himself. The generosity of his family and friends enabled Dheer and his parents to make a special shopping trip to pick out some items to help local vulnerable children.
By donating duvets, covers, and bedsheets to our Forget-Me-Notts project, Dheer has helped us provide a safe, cosy sleeping solution for children in the UK who don’t have access to the things we all need for a good night’s sleep.
Dheer and his parents made a special visit to our office to donate his birthday gifts in person, and the Forget-Me-Notts team will be able to use them to set up new beds straight away. We especially love the panda and Toy Story pattern duvet covers, and can’t wait to see the smiles they bring to children’s faces!
A huge THANK YOU to Dheer and everyone who donated to make this happen! A wonderful way to spread some Birthday Joy!
